POSITION SUMMARY
Nucleus Security is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, content strategist and producer to play an integral role driving our leadership in VRM through persuasive content that will drive awareness, engagement and ultimately demand.
The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background with a deep understanding of the best practices required to determine what resonates with key audiences, how to drive higher engagement and leads all via a consistent brand voice. You are a master of both long form and short form content with a talent for web copy.
This individual contributor understands the buyer, their content consumption habits along the buyer’s journey and how to develop engaging content that differentiates Nucleus from the competition. This person will play a pivotal role in expanding our company’s digital footprint in a growing marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting startup in a hot space and make a huge impact on Nucleus Security’s growth. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Demand Generation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define, create, and repurpose content assets including emails, web copy, white papers, infographics, social media posts, blogs, case studies, landing pages, videos and more.
Leverage industry trends, corporate brand, and solution value propositions to craft quality content.
Manage content lifecycle workflow for assigned content types from creation through approvals, editing, publishing/activation, measurement, curation and maintenance.
Work cross-functionally to gather the information needed to optimize associated asset creation, performance and measurement.
Collaborate with graphic designers to build asset visuals and interactive assets.
Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives with keyword prioritization based on input from research and key stakeholders.
Ensure accurate tracking in order to provide regular reporting on engagement with content. Define KPIs, measure performance and optimize accordingly.
Own the content roadmap and calendar and build across audience type and verticals.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years in B2B SaaS content marketing, copywriting, with 3+ years in cybersecurity.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills, including the ability to write in different styles for different audience types and goals (i.e. demand, thought leadership, sales enablement, tech writing).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write persuasive short and long-form content.
Strong editing and proofreading skills with focused attention to detail.
An established track record in creating successful marketing content from start to finish.
Passion for customers and drive to understand buyer’s needs, translating that into relevant and useful content marketing.
Proficient in crafting content based on brand and product messages and audience profiles.
Passionate about developing informative content that is SEO optimized. Strong understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
Able to link content to campaign themes and goals.
Able to utilize Web publishing and content management and inventory tools
Proficiency with content management systems and basic HTML.
